The information requested in this application is used by the Star of Hope Foundation to determine which schools will receive Bridge Grant funds. Please complete all of the information requested in the Star of Hope Bridge Grant Application. Please type or neatly print your information. Please make sure that all questions on the Bridge Grant application are completed, failure to answer a question could cause the application to not be considered.

Two(2) letters of recommendation must also accompany all Bridge Grant applications. The letters of recommendation must be from a school administrator, teacher or other person with first hand knowledge of exactly how a Star of Hope Foundation Bridge Grant will benefit/further an applicant’s educational development.

Each school applying for a Star of Hope Foundation Bridge Grant during each grant period may submit only one application. The deadlines for submitting a Star of Hope Bridge Grant application are January 15, March 15, September 15th of each year, unless the Executive Committee or President specifically grants an extension.

If a school has an emergency need for a Star of Hope Foundation Bridge Grant, an emergency grant process has been established. The school requesting an emergency Bridge Grant must follow the same rules that apply to every application. Emergency grants will be reviewed when received and do not need to be submitted during specific grant periods.

If a school receives a Star of Hope Foundation Bridge Grant, but is unable to use the grants funds for the purpose applied for, the school must return all Star of Hope Bridge Grant funds to the foundation.
